'97 sebring w/ rusted brake lines need replacing

I was actually just wondering how much it should cost to have a mechanic replace the brake lines in my '97 Chrysler Sebring JX convertible. They're badly rusted and will need to be fully replaced.

Look at spending around 200-400 dollars to replace all the lines, and possibly calipers or wheel cylinders if the bleeder screws are rusted out also.

Hi, brake lines are not expensive but they require special tools. Any brake shop can repair a line for about $100.

You don't need a diagram to replace all the
brake lines on that vehicle

I had one for 18.5 years and did them
3 times because of rust.

97 holden commodore vs II front brake rotors -

not necessarily, its actually a good idea to replace rotors or at least get them serviced due to the fact that they arent built to last forever. if the car is a 97 it probably just had rusted or even bent rotors. if at all possible see if you can get a mechanic to check out the surrounding parts to see if there is any unusual wear done to them.

Brakes lines rusted on a 97 cadillac deville

Metal brake lines rust with age, become potted & leak fluid. Replace with copper pipe, is only marginally more expensive, the labour to replace will be the same but copper wont rust, so future cost saving & safety. Job is easy enough to do yourself, unscrew where it joins master cylinder, then follow line back, clipping it out from any securing clips, unscrew other end, coil up & take to motorfactors, ask them to make a copper brakepipe exactly like your old one, dont worry if you snap pipe during removal, take all bits with you so correct length can be gauged. Copper is very flexible & can be bent to shape when you refit. Make sure you have new brake fluid to bleed your system with after replacement.
Have fun.

Krown Rust Control states that they spray above the gas tank

I would check my Krown warranty.
If you have had the vehicle sprayed starting when it was new you should have NO rust.....and free brake lines.
If it was a used vehicle when you started spraying......the Krown will only slow the rust......no free brake lines.
If the top tank area is dry....no Krown oil.......again free brake lines.
Krown is a good product and does prevent rust if applied correctly.

Toyota camry 1993 4 cyl car the hydraulic fluid line entering the pump close to the left rear wheel got rusted and is leaking, and needs replacement. Please let me know what parts will be required and what...

Brake lines are not expensive, you can purchase different diameters, and lengths at any parts store. If the line is rusted and leaking, the rest of the brake line system needs to be visually inspected, as usually when a line rusts through, the rest of the system is probably rusting away and may also need replacement.
So, although the parts are not expensive, this is a lousy labor intensive job. The lines will be rusted at connections and difficult to separate, and brake system will have to be bled to remove all air. Your safety is of the utmost importance, so get this fixed before you drive it. To fix the one line should not cost much, to replace all the brake lines could cost several hundred $. If you can do it yourself, you can save a lot, but as I said, it's a lousy job, especially if you don' have a lift to raise the car for easier access. Good luck.
