hi it should be a 22mm bolt and best way is to put the car in 4th gear or drive if auto and get someone to jump on the brakes then use a strong arm to remove as they are very tight

Lower: Torque to 28 N·m (250 in. lbs.)

Upper: Torque to 12 N·m (105 in. lbs.)

Do i use gasket sealent on an oil pan gasket for a delta LS 88 1997?


in a word yes.... if you are using the paste type paint the top and bottom of the gasket an torgue it it to specs. use a correct pattern as you tighten the bolts the same as you would for a tire. if you use the type from a tube just put an even bead around the gasket area of the pan then a bead on the gasket top and follow the specs for torgue again

1997 F150 4x2, upper control arm torque specs, ball joint, and bushing bolts


The torgue spec for the upper control and ball joints is40 to 45 ft lbs they have castle nuts and cotter pins its not that critical the bushing are rubber mounts there much less user your best judgement not to over compress the rubber

Inner main bearing cap bolts:
Torque to 15 ft-lbs, then rotate an additional 1/4 turn

Outer main (windage tray) bearing cap bolts:
Torque to 20 ft-lbs, then rotate an additional 1/4 turn

Main bearing cap cross bolts:
Torque to 250 in-lbs or 20.83 ft-lbs

Connecting road bearing cap nuts:
Torque to 20 ft-lbs, then rotate an additional 1/4 turn
