I have a 2004 Ford Focus and it keeps stalling out! I turn the air on and the car runs really rough makes like a sputtering sound while in drive at red lights? I have had a new water pump and a new fuel pump put in the past 2 weeks. Why when I turn the air on my whole car feels like its going to stall? I also cant drive to the shore because every year I need a tow truck to get me because it stalls out!!! If I fixed everything and its still sputtering could it be electrical also?? I cant take it anymore!

It could be a lot of things, check the gas cap, vacuum leak, IAC, may need a tune-up ( check plugs, wires, air filter), seizing pulley, timing issue (check CKP sensor and CMP sensor), sticking valves, misfire, Fuel line pressure, or an issue with CAT or muffler.Good luck.

Not sure about your truck older Fords have 2 fuel pumps 1 in the tank & 1 under cab drivers side. Anytime you change a pump you must change your filter. also check your fuel line if it has been pinched or has a leak pressure will drop

maybe the bulkhead to the computer is loose or needs to be unplugged and then plugged back in. make sure that it is moisture free, unhook the battery before unplugging and plugging the computer.. ;)
