Most likely the Gage is not the problem these rarely go out. If the pressure is only dropping then the oil pump is getting weaker or is filling with sludge. Try running the engine with an oil additive such as marvel mystery oil or sea-foam. Then after the additive has circulated through the engine for a few heat ups and cool downs you can change your oil. the pressure should change almost immediately. If it doesn't then check the oil pressure switch. You can look on the side of the block and there will be a small piece shaped like a pencil with a wire coming from it. This piece is the oil pressure switch. Hope this helps. Please rate me if you think this helped. Good luck.

SOURCE: how do you repair a

You have to remove the door panel, if you have roll down windows the handle will have to be removed. After panel is removed you have to drill the one rivet that hols the interior handle. slide the handle down and unfasten the rod retaining clip. Please make sure you do not break the clip. Install the new interior door handle, clip and provided fasteners. Try the door before you install the interior door panel, Note the is a good time to lube the window roller and the door mechanism. Make sure to install the water shield to provide the protecting from the elements. Line all the plastic retaining clips and or replace if they are broken. Good Luck.

My fuel gauge needle jumps around when I turn my ignition on. While driving it moves a back and fourth real quick. I just changed my fuel filter and was wondering what could be causing this to happen....

No the problem here is a short in the fuel level sensor which is attached to the fuel pump this is getting a bad connection. You will have to replace the sensor which you will have to drop the tank to do.

93 gmc sierra 5.7 liter engine, injection carb, will turn over won't start, replaced fuel pump fuse, replaced fuel pump relay, replaced fuel pump inside gas tank, no gas flow to carb , gas gauge has always...

you say you replaced the fuse, but does the fuse have power? the gray wire at pump should have power when cranking, or for 2 seconds when turning key on. At fuel pump relay, put power onto gray wire, the pump should run if the wiring is good. if it doenst run then ck for power at fuse while power is on gray wire.

95 GMC Sierra 1500Rpm gauge always at 10000rpm or below.

This could be as simple as the needle is stuck on your gauge or the gauge may need to be replaced. Thousands of these in salvadge yards and not extremely expensive. First make sure you are getting a good connection between the gauge and rpm sending unit this is easily checked. I suggest getting a chilton or haynes manual for aroung $20 It will be well worth it if you have any other problems later. Also much cheaper than the $90 an hour for labor for a mech. Who it will ony take about 15 minutes to test this.
