How to remove backseat of a pontiac g6

backseats usually come out by lifting the back rest section first. It takes some muscle to get hands under the cushion and lift it from its mounts. The seat section should also lift from the front of the cushion and release from the mounts too. Sometimes it takes a bit of manipulating to find that sweet spot of removal of these sections.

I have a 1961 corvair and I am trying to figure out how to lift up the backseat

Most cars of that era, have two latches for the bottom of the seat usually about 1/4 distance from the edge of the seat. You push down and back on the front edge of the seat and it unlatches.then lifts out. The seat back usually has two tabs or sometimes bolts that you can get to when the bottom of the seat is removed.

Will back seat come down

As far as I can tell, the only part that comes down is the little door in the middle of the backseat. Your key goes in there and unlocks it and you can put it up or down depending if you are hauling anything. it is available when you pull down the strap that gives you the cup holders and center console in the backseat.

Keys locked in trunk 1989 Nissan Stanza

You say you can't get into the car so you cant go through the backseat. Call a locksmith to open your trunk. Don't damage anything you will be sorry later. Should cost about $40.00. Or you can pop the lock out of the trunk. Call a locksmith.
