Question about 1998 Ford Taurus

1998 Ford Taurus starts fine cold. After driving and turning off, won't restart unless i wait about 1 to 2 hours. Other times will start again right away. Very hit and miss and annoying.

Drive 5 miles and starts up fine, drive 30 miles and wont restart

Sounds like a fuel pump overheating. Drive until it wont start then check the fuel pressure. If no gauge when it wont start try some starting fluid. You should also check your fuel pump relay.
