Your blower motor resistor has gone bad, it should be located next to your blower motor in the car, held in place with a couple of screws, remove it and replace it. The resistor is responsible for making the blower motor run at slower speeds than high or (4). Let me know if this helps.

replace the blower resistor. Its up under the dash on passenger side, beside the blower motor.

..Sounds like the thermostat is sticking closed. Replace and make sure all coolant hose's are in good condition. Smoke may be steam when engine is getting too hot and leaking out of hose's because of high pressure.

I have a 2001 Ford Focus DOHC. Heater doesn't blow hot. Hot cold indicator switch clicks as i9t should when I turn indicator but it doesn't seem to change anything


Feel your heater hoses and see if they are getting hot..If so when your click from the switch ,,make sure the door is switching from hot to cold

2001 ford focus - plastic coolant tube cracked


it's called the degas bottle becuase it is pressurized and flows coolant through it all the time so it can purge air.

R+r heater blower motor on 03 ford focus ztw Procedure please


it's in the black plastic plenum under the instrument panel.
steps
Blower Motor Removal
  1. Remove the footwell lower trim panel passeger side.
    1. Open the glove compartment.
    1. Remove the footwell vent air duct.
      • Pull off the hose.
      1. Close the glove compartment.
      1. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector.
      2. Remove the blower motor. looks like three bolts or nuts.
