SOURCE: AIRBAG FAULT warning came on after closing

Most likely the connector on the airbag was rattled. You may need to access this and make sure its on tight. If this fails you may need to get it diagnosed. A code will further help in the direction you need to go.

Use caution as the air bag could deploy if you hit it hard enough.

To safely inspect the connector you will need to disconnect the battery for about a half hour before touching anything. This will allow the ABS module to discharge and prevent any accidental deployment.

Also be aware of any radio codes if nessasary before disconnecting the battery if needed. Also navigation could be lost if you have it.

SOURCE: VW Touran suffering from poor air circulation

First check the cabin air filter. All the air goes through this before the system. They need repacement every 15,000, or they get dirty and don't work well.

My 2005 vw touran has just had a new bonnet cable fitted and strangely the passenger side airbag fault light has came on? Any ideas? TomT.

You must have it tested and then see what fault code shows up, diagnosis is then done to find problem. I don't guess on something that may affect your life.

Hi have a 2005 VW Touran 1.9TDI engine code BKC, my emission-workshop light came on and if you start the car, it start in limp mode and the emission light then comes on

You need the fault code read with a scan tool, then based on that you do the correct fault code diagnostics to arrive at the needed repair. This requires a trip to the dealer on this car.

2008 vw touran tdi goes in to limp mode on motor way when it hits 70 mph

run fault codes to find what sensor is going outside parameters for this to happen. Limp mode becomes operational from faults detected in the engine and transmission and is designed to prevent expensive damage to the units.

TOURAN ESP LIGHT ON AT DASHBOARD

This is common problem with many vw's
Sounds silly but change the brake light switch under brake pedal.
Often solves the problem (about £8 for switch) will need the light turning out by diagnostic tool.
