Sounds stupid, but could be bad battery conection. The car gets enough amperage to run the acceseries but not enough amperage to start the car. Clean and tighten the terminals. It cost nothing and will eliminate these connections as the cause if the problem persits.

run the fault codes and look for problems in the canister system. Sounds like the tank is not venting properly and creating a vacuum in the tank which is restricting fuel flow to the engine.

1993 form tempo will start great most of the time, intermittenly it will refuse to "hit a lick" and will not start, battery turnover is not the problem, crankin is great... it just refuses to...

i just had a similar problem with my sisters saturn.. it ended up being the crank sensor that intermiditly stop working and so the coils wouldent fire...it took a min to figure out cause it wouldent store a code for this problem..i think checking into that crank sensor may find the culprate

Car Wont Start Sometimes, happened 3 times in the last... 3 months last two times less than a two weeks of each other

Possibly a Coolant Temp. sensor unless it has been replaced recently?? Also check the connector with the yellow & black wire.It will be the lower of the 2 coolant sensors. The ODO Is mechanical & can only be serviced by replacing the complete guage cluster.Hope this helps

this is caused by burnt starter solenoid contacts, U can either replace the starter solenoid contacts (about $15) or u can replace the entire starter.
