BAS is the Brake Assist System and if there is a malfunction it would only come into play in an Emergency stop while applying full pressure. BAS applies full braking force because people tend to lighten up their pressure on the pedal in these situations. I would suggest that the best thing to do is go to a Workshop or Service Center and have it checked out. Please remember to put a good rating on my profile.

This vehicle is total electronic computer controled gearbox ,their is no quick fix without the appropiate software ,only solution is the main dealer who connect vehicle directly up to the factory via internet .The software used is encrypted to prevent us general mechanics from using a snap on scanner.Any attempt to disconnect or play with the solonoids will activate the immobilisor which means that it will not start.Evan trying to fit brake pads will activate the immobilisor.Sorry someone might tell you to try this or that but at the end of the day it will only immobilise the vehicle entailing more expense to have have moved to a dealer.
