Question about 1988 Toyota Supra
My 1988 supra turbo has a yellow light on the dash that says "antilock" in the middle what does this indicate?
That there is a problem with the antilock brake system. it could be something simple like a loose wire connector on the wheel

need you to examine under the dash first you may have to remove any panels (lower Dash) to get a visual-look for relays connected to your crank wire-they need to be disconnected and reconnected to oringinal wires (they are color coded) try that first

SOURCE: flooded engine on 96 turbo supra
Hold the throttle all the way to the floor crank until it runs, with the pedal all the way to the floor this puts the car into Clear flood mode.

SOURCE: my 88 turbo supra at
if idle sound is an issue.... then put a bigger turbo on ur engine... smaller turbo means lesser weight which means that even at idle the back pressure will spin ur turbo blades.... if ur turbo is spooning at idle.. it's a good thing most guys aim at doing that... Dont worry...Be happy

Tips for a great answer:
this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating
that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of
lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected
a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM,
SRS and BCM faults and others) as long as the light is on. You must
now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool and
"scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for the
Legend of Abbreviations. ABS Antilock brake system.TCS Traction control system, TCM Transmission control module, SRS Supplemental restraint system, BCM Body control module
