You need to go to the local parts store near you to their stereo section, and you need to get the stereo harness adapter if you look on the back of the boxes it will tell you what model to get based on your car, then you need to get a mounting hardware kit if the stereo did not come with one

Drivers side kick panel(down by the hood latch) where your left foot is. There is also one under the hood by the drivers side strut tower. If nobody lost it there should even be a fuse puller in there. On the back of the fuse cover is a diagram that tells you which fuse is which.

you might need to look at the wires on the back of the radio, there might be an inline fuse, also you best have a look at the main fuse panel in the car and see if the one for the radio and clock has blown

you wont need to change it until at least 100,000 miles. Typically that will last the life of the car. But alot of people, including myself, wait until it breaks to replace it. It is about $1000 to replace because the engine has to be partially disassembled.
