Good! This seems like a very dangerous idea for a radio to get texts while you are driving.

2008 ford edge - two radio stations stop working on my radio but others are fine. Not a radio station issue, could this be a battery or electrical issue?

does radio allow you to tune to stations number ?
if it does but it won't stay there for more than 30 seconds radio is telling you that station is not sending a strong enough signal out for radio to properly recieve it ,also ck roof antenna for damage automatic car washes kill these all the time

won't allow you to tune it there no way, then radio is in parental control mode obtain code and reinstate station permission read owners manual for this feature

Radio doesnt work

If the radio itself is not recieving any signal, it is time to replace the radio. These are getting cheaper and cheaper in certain cars. When you go to replace it, the key to this is, purchase for around $20 the plug in harness. It gets **** connected to the new stereos harness and then plugs directly to the vehicles existing harness so you don't need wiring diagrams or screw with the lighting. You can be done in about 30 minutes even as a novice.

Anyone know how to pop the radio out?

try removing the speakers from the cab and trying known good speakers. That way you will know if there's any power or not.Otherwise you will have to remove some of the panels on the dash to gain access to the reciever. After you can open upa space to access the reciever, it is only a matter of removing a feww screws and the nut at the back that holds the reciever stable.remove radio fuse before doing anything.

Radio reciever ....cant get it out

First remove the selector trim panel for the Auto tranny or gear shift and boot trim panel for a manual tranny. remove the cigarette lighter assembly and disconnect the connector. remove the 2 radio mounting screws. You need the insert two radio removal tools T87p-19061 or equivalent into the face plate holes until you feel the tension of the holding clips. If this is the first tome removing the radio, the flashing of the bezel facing has to be broke. This may require extra force. flex outward on both sides of the radio simutaneously and pull the radio out using the tools as handles. Then dissconnect the electrical connectors. Hope this helps.
