If all other turn signals work then the flasher is not te issue, if u already replaced the bulb, then u probably have a bad pigtail.

Can't be the flasher if the others work, most likely the socket is corroded, a test light or multi meter is the next step

SOURCE: how to remove the door panel on a 2005 grand prix

Just an philips screw, you'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them.

If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door.

Hope helped with this (remember rated this).

I have sourced out all fuses and bulbs, yet continue to have a rapid right turn signal. I don't know where else to look. help?

replace the right rear bulb. the quick flashing indicates a bad bulb. it could be a wiring problem to the rear for the signal light that you will have to check out starting at the socket and working forward.

Grand prix front turn signals lights will not work but rears flash rapidly.

Definitely not the flasher, as long as it is flashing or blinking somewhere. Rapid flashing indicates a burned bulb, but since you already tried new bulbs in front, possibly bad bulb sockets, loose connectors, or a bad ground for the front bulbs. If you have a test light or voltmeter (multimeter), check for power at the socket when turns are on. If power then at the front, try new bulbs or trace the ground for those lights. If no power to the socket for turn signals, recheck wiring.

Hey I literally just today had the same problem, put a new bulb in the light was on but did not blink!!!! SUPER EASY SOLUTION, you simply have the bulb in too far. I gently pulled mine out a tiny bit and it started working fine... guarantee that's all that's happening to you!!!

Right front turn signal doesnt work 97 jeep grand cherokee. all others work

Does the right front signal work when you use your flashers? If not you probably need a new bulb. If replacing the bulb doesnt fix this then there is a problem with the wiring to the right front.

WHERE IS THE FLASHER LOCATED

The flasher for the signals are made for a specific number of bulbs to flash properly. They need a specific minimum current load to heat the bi-metal spring strip and start flashing. You most likely have a bulb somewhere burned out or shorted to the other element (dual element bulb) bite the bullet and replace all the burned bulbs, remember sometimes the side markers are part of the circuit, then replace all the dual element bulbs. If all else fails replace the flasher unit, usually located at or near the fuse box. Use an original equipment style, not a 'heavy duty', that will ensure you are not masking the problem, and will not flash if a bulb is out (safety feature you never knew about).

Front driver turn signal quit. changed bulb, worked for short time, then quit. bulb OK. passenger side quit 1-2 months later. bulb OK. neither front emergency flasher work. automatic daytime front lights...

Check for head light (daytime)relay to be bad, this might have to do with the turn signals also,if the turn signals on this car, also have running lights in them,If this relay is not bad, replace the body control module.

Right turn signal does not flash

If the left flashes, then you don't need to locate the flasher,You need to check bulbs and bulb sockets and blincker switch.(You can test the relay and bulbs by turning on the hazard lights and looking at each one)

Please take time to rate this fixya

Where is the flasher on 2005. the right signal's not working but the left one is. when i turn on the right one i can hear it clicking real fast but the lights don't flash the four ways work fine

check for a burned out bulb on the right side of the vehicle there is only one flasher in this vehicle and it sounds to be working fine. usually a burned bulb will cause the problems you are describing if you turn on the emergency flashers and walk around the vehicle you should be able to find it easily
