I turn the key in the ignition, dash lights all light up but car wont start. It does not even sound like the car is kicking over.
Also, separate problem, the windows will not roll down on the driver side, but i hear a clicking noise with the motor. Like a ticking noise, what could be wrong with the window. On Passenger side, window will roll down but seems to fall off track. Any ideas, I am clueless about cars so i am not too sure
Problem number one sounds like a dead battery to me. Problem with driver door is the cable in your window regulator is broken and bound up. Will need to replace the regulator. Passenger side window problem could be caused by a number of things... most common that come to mind are window guide not in correct position or one of the bolts that hold the window to the regulator has come loose.
No problem. I would put the battery on a charger on low 2 amp charge all night. Next day, remove battery charger. Then have someone turn the key as to try and start the car while you tap on the starter with a hammer. You may have to use a prybar to reach the starter solenoid. Corrosion builds up on the starter contacts over time and creates a resistance too high for the voltage to overcome to start your car. If the car rolls over as you are tapping the starter then replace the starter.

Thank you for your reply and advice!
I checked the battery this morning with my meter and found that the voltage was 12.2 Volts. I assume that the battery is still good, but maybe having a starter problem or alternator problem. But my knowledge is limited so maybe you could help me out in that regards.
I will check into a regulator for the window. Again, thank you for your advice, it has been helpful!
