Hello. If your car smoking, it is burning oil. If your car is running strong but, smoking, then one of the piston rings is shot if it smokes alittle. If the car is smoking alot, then most of the piston rings are shot. If the car is solid and strong and in good condition, save it by rebuilding the motor itself or change the motor. Good Luck.

It's time for an engine rebuild. Or you could get a reconditioned engine installed. All depends, if the car is in good condition and worth fixing. But it is a 15 year old car. Might be time to upgrade.

Smoke from mufler during stand by when push

Bad valve seats. At idle or overnight the seals will leak oil past them and into the combustion chamber causing smoke . This is the most common problem with smoke. Can also be worn piston rings.

Opel astra club model.bt it smoke with engine operation what is problem?

gray smoke is water ( check water level )
black smoke is oil (check oil level)
also check if you are parked on an incline, if back of car is up un air then water can sit in the exhaust over night. and it can take upto 2hrs of driving to get it out. this will also give you gray smoke.
