Front tires make a metalic ticking noise when turning sharp

Sounds like a bad cv axle. This can be a very dangerous condition if the cv joint were to fail. Please have it checked out immediately.

Did he check the springs to the struts or the struts themselves? I would check that. The springs can get turned or jammed after wear or possiblly broke . Other than that , it sounds like a ball joint or tie rod end.

Right side tire clunking noise

My car does it on the driver's side when I'm making a sharp left turn!! Someone with the same problem (and same car) said they thought it was a spring popping when he was making a sharp turn. I haven't had it in to be checked out though.

Bad axle

A bad axle will make a continuous clicking or clunking sound when making a sharp turn (left or right), but if they are really worn out it would not have to be a sharp turn for them to make that noise.
