My 02 rendezvous wouldnt start, it would turn over but there was no fire, I changed the fuel filter, still no start, changed the fuel pump that I was told was bad still wont start, fuses have been checked....

Are you getting spark High voltage through the ignition system? how long since it has not run? Did you have the error codes read
Are you Sure the Fuel pump is working? If working you should hear it make some sound when you turn the key on, but before you turn to start. If it doesn't make sound it probably is not gettind power. There is a device called Fuel pump relay that in many other cars gives a problem. I would try to bypass it temporarily to see if you get the new fuel pump to respond. If it does, most likely that is the problem. If it does not respond, then double check your connections.

HOW DO I FIX MY GAS GAUGE?

If it isn't registering at all, then I'd first check the operation of the sender unit in the fuel tank.

A stepper fan? I'm not sure I know what you're talking about there.

I have a 2002 buick rendezvours my car won't start

Did the people that told you to change the fuel pump
diagnose the entire electrical system for the fuel pump
or just guess at your expense?

If your the one working on your own car, then I have to say
if you don't have factory diagnostic manuals, wiring diagrams
& experience, not only car repairs but basic electricity, your
in trouble, because you have no reference material & no way
to know where to start testing

After 1996, the car has pretty much gone to the repair shops,
as most people never stayed up with new technology

If the new pump was installed by a repair shop, then you don't
need me to tell you the problem.
The shop failed to properly diagnose & resolve & that may be
what they do alot, as they are not up to speed

How to change the02 sensors on a 2003 buick rendevzous

The O2 sensor on your Buick is located on the rear (under windshield cowl side of your exhaust manifold...You might be able to spray injector cleaner on it after removal...use PB Blaster to lubricate before removing the nut...also have you tried running some gas tank fuel injector cleaner in your gas tank recently? Sometimes this will help the sensor to work properly. To clear your "check engine light" you need to disconnect the positive side of your battery cable for about 15 minutes, then reconnect...the light should stay off if all is OK...Hope this helps.

Is there a starter fuse on a 86 buick park ave

May be a starter fuse - but if blown, starter will not rotate engine. More likely a fuel starvation problem. Replace fuel filter in gas line - first choice. Next, have fuel pump pressure checked. If it has failed, you will get 4 -5 seconds of engine run before stopping.

You have a bad electrical connection. Check the wiring harness and both sides of it's connectors for corrosion and or breakage. The connector terminals will become worn and corroded and the wiring sheaths a prone to weathering and become brittle. Replace or clean as needed.

My buick 2002 rendevouz wont start

These had numerous fuel pump issues first the pump it self would go bad (YOU CAN TAKE OFF THE Gas CAP AND LISTEN CAREFULLY TO TRY TO HEAR THE PUMP RUN) And they also had wiring problems that supplied power to the fuel pump as well as other items. If it cranks but wont start check fuel pump first....

Car wont start once ieng is shut off for 20mins or longer

this sounds like a defective fuel pump, but u will need to have the fuel pressure tested when it acts up to verify this is the issue 100%, the fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank.

Car wont start

Check the fuel pump and filter before anything else. You can do this by having someone turn the key to on and listen for the fuel pump to kick on. That's the low buget way but it works just make sure it makes a high pitch sound and shuts off after pressurizing.
