This light comes on when the compressor works overtime. This normally means one of the bags has a leak or there is a leak in the system. You can try resetting the light by unhooking the negative battery cable for a few minutes to reset the ECU.

Given the age of the car...you wouldn't want to know what the cost would be to fix ($600+). Just ignore the light or ask your mechanic if he could pull the bulb for the indicator and drive the car, as-is.

Air Suspension conversion completed. Converted to Spring/Shock setup. Excellent ride!


Maybe have the ecu reprogrammed . If that can't be done blank the bulb off

My 2006 Cadillac Escalade has a "service ride control" light on. Also, the air ride does not inflate. What could be causing it to not work?


Check the air ride's fuse first. You should hear the pump running when you turn the key on, the pump is under the body of the Escalade.

Air suspension light


The air ride suspension light turns on when for whatever reason the air ride suspention is NOT on. So, either the suspension switch in the trunk is turned off, or you have a problem with your air ride suspension. I ran into the same thing last week. When I checked the switch in the trunk, sure enough it was switched on. I flipped the switch off, turned the car on and then flipped the switch in the trunk to on position. It has been fine ever since. Give it a try. GOOD LUCK.

Air suspension light came on I turned the car off light went off, then I noticed the rear end of my car was low. What could that be?


It is your air ride suspension. It could be the air bags, the sensors, compressor, wires and many other things. What I did was bought an after market coil spring suspension and converted it from the air ride suspension. The air ride is lovely but costly. It is hard to diagnose that air ride suspension without spending a lot more money then you want. I suggest getting an after market converter kit, but I would make sure it has the sensor plug so that your warning light on your dash goes out....otherwise it will be on forever!

Service ride control


It's time to replace the rear shocks. There expensive like $250.00 and up each and if your not going to be towing, most people replace them with a good set of shocks and not the factor OEM air shock which you have for the auto ride height system. If your going to just buy and good set of normal gas shocks. Pull the fuse to     the auto ride system so the light on the dash is off.
Good luck and hope this helps. The auto ride system was there for towing heavy trailers to keep the ride hight. The rear suspension is actually soft so you have a soft ride and the shock keeps it from bouncing. If your not towing heavy or carring heavy loads, you should be fine with a conventional gas shocks and you may find it better. I found the Monroe Reflex shocks to be more stable then the OEM around corners and highway driving.

1997 Lincoln Continental Suspension Conversion Problem


It could be a wheel speed sensor that went out or something... When working with the wiring, something could have just gotten crossed or tapped to get these codes as well. The compressor shouldnt be running anymore if everything was tied off properly. Take it in somewhere and have the codes cleared and that should fix the problem hopefully. I know AutoZone has a reader, but I do not know if they have they ability to clear the codes.
