Found these on ebay-I hope this is what you are looking for. One says it's the 911, but I think when I checked its closer it was actually a 944, the other seemed to be the correct one. I hope so. SOURCE: my Porsche Key fob no longer unlocks the doors

Insert key into door barrel or ignition lock and turn key, whilst doing this press the unlock/lock button, the led on the dash should flash to indicate this has initialised the key to the car, then remove key and test operation of remote. If this fails then a new remote plus coding to the car by your dealership is needed

SOURCE: radio removal instuctions for 2003 911 porsche

I am assuming that this is very similar to the Boxster. You need to used the becker radio tool remover. The key slides into the little notches in the lower far right and left sides of the radio face. The keys just release the catch, but there is nothing else you can grab to pull the unit out. I had to insert the keys and pull outward to get enough friction to remove the unit. What are you trying to achieve? The COA will tell you if it is the correct matching numbers engine, or you can call Porsche in Atlanta and ask them to confirm over the phone

1999 Porsche Carrera the radio turns on and there is no sound from speakers. What do I do to get the sound to come on.

if the radio powers on make sure it is set to an fm station by pushing the S button. then turn the knob on the left to turn the volume up. if there is still no sound it is most likely a radio gone bad or the amp has gone bad.

paul it really sounds as if that dealer is trying to stroke u....my suggestion would to call porshe and find out who the district manager or manager of the stores in ur city or even county and tell him or her of ur problem... and how u feel about this problem.. and ask why a car would be returned to u in worse condition than when u took it there... its very possible that the change of the battery wasnt done correctly and may have blown ur ecu... id get in contact with the district service manager (dsm) as soon as possible..u paid alot of money for this car and for its service.. and should be entitled to quality work performance..
