What kind of automatic transmission fluid do i need to use?

Your Scion TC requires Toyota type T-IV auto trans fluid that is a mineral oil based fluid, do not mix with different types of oils. If your fluid is burnt smelling or very dark in color be advised fresh fluid could be a bad thing as fresh detergents could wash away the last remnants of clutch linings.

How to change transmission fluid in Toyota Sienna LE 2006.

This transmission uses lifetim WS (world standard) trans fluid however most dfealers recommend changing it at about 100,000 miles. Replacing the fluid requires special tools and procedure so this is best left to leave this to someone who knows Toyotas to avoid possible transmission damage

Where can i find the oil gauge for a automatic transmisson for my 2008 FJ Cruiser

This transmission doesn't have transmission dipstick to check the oil, this is a 'sealed" transmission which uses WS (world standard) transmission fluid, toyota claims this fluid never needs servicing but most dealers recommend changing the fluid at 100,000 miles, I myself own an 07 and changed the fluid at 60,000. Changing the fluid requires some special equipment and procedure so it's best left to the toyota dealer on this one.

Frequency to changing transmission fluid on 2003 Corolla

I'm not sure about Toyota's specific recommendation but when I ran my service station, we changed trans fluid at the 50,000 to 60,000 mile range. This covered most manufacturer's requirements at the time. Hope this helps.

Manual transmissions and transaxles require light viscosity and low pressure fortified oils. It also provides excellent bearing and gear protection.
