I need a vacuum diagram for a 1980 22RE engine w/ 2 bbl carb

I don't think your engine is a 22R-E as the E denotes electronic fuel ejection. For 1980 it should be just a 22R. I would not suggest slapping on another carb without expecting more work than just hooking up the original vacuum lines. Some lines you could cap off but others would need the vacuum and rerouting. There is plenty of info in the following blog on removing smog devices and extra vacuum lines here:
There are also plenty of pictures and diagrams for your engine. Making a trip to your local junkyard might find you a 22R with a carb still attached but it's slim these days. I know this question is from January but if it's too late to help you than maybe it can help some one else.

Best replacement carb for 1980 vette , simple is the key word

Best simple replacement carb for your Vette would be to have the stock Quadrajet rebuilt by an ols pro...when built right these carbs of 780 cfm are powerful and reliably sure to keep the electric choke...A bolt on replacement that I have used is the Carter Thermoquad...while this carb permits easy adjustments, the secondaries are not as large as the Quadrajet...therfore the kick down response is not as powerful as the Q-jet...Yes, the primaries are larger but the 625 CFM again limits the response on your LT-1 350...Hope this helps.

I have 327 with two holly 650s on it I am getting a dead spot when I push the gas pedal down its about half thottle it kinda dies then if I give it another push on the gas it will go I changed the gas...

It could be a acceleration pump problem, or it could be that there are larger jets in the back carb. witch could make it hesatate when the secound carb. is starting to come in. Also holleys are a tempermental carb. and climent has a lot to do with there performance. You also might want to chk. the flote level, to low can cause it to hesatate.

Car not getting fuel

If it is a 1980 Caddy it either has a carburetor or throttle-body fuel injection( V864, if it's fuel injected you might need a new fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator ) and you can remove the aircleaner lid and pour a little gas down the carb (hold the choke plate open with a screw driver placed between choke plate and carb air horn) or throttle-body. It might take a few tries before the fuel pump fills the float bowl up on the carb for it to keep running. If the cars has really old stale gas in the tank you might need to drain it and refill with fresh gas. Change the fuel filter and add a can of fuel injector-carb cleaner to the gas tank.

Truck idles and runs fine when slowly accelerating. when power is needed for merging motor (350) has stalling problem (doesn't kill though). New fuel pump and filter installed.

if it's a fuel injected the it's your fuel reglater that's going bad...but if it's a carb. chevy then the flote's need to be reajusted to the right setting...hope this helps and good luck..

I have a 1980 honda accrod 1.8 li....

The nob on the back is the idel set., the float adjustments are the 2 recessed areas on diverside on top of carb.. Be aware by turning to try to set float can cause problems. If you do turn be sure to count number of turns for each so you can reset to original settings if carb starts to flood or starve. What are you trying to acheive?
