Question about 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Depending on where you took the truck to be serviced, they may have just repacked the wheel bearing and inspected the cv joint when they replaced the speed sensor, but if it was going bad already that would have to have been a major overlook. Unfortunately, if the boots on the cv joint are good and not cracked or loose, there are no other indications of a bad joint other than noise in the front end while driving. Are you sure the cv joint is bad? What are the indications you are having?
