How do i replace the fuse for the power windows for a chrysler sebring 2004?

Just locate the fuse box look on the cover that you remove and it will show you which fuse is the power window fuse. Then just replace it with the same amp fuse. Also there is a main fuse panel drivers side under hood check that one also.

2004 chrysler sebring. my break lights don't come on when i hit the break pedal.

There is a brake light switch on the pedal inside the cabin of the car, if this switch is bad your lights will not work, also I'm fairly confident that the Sebring has a seperate fuse for the brake lights, check your fuse panels also

Location of tcc fuse

Usually te TCC is tied in with the circuit with the other solenoids..So if it was the fuse you would lose all the other solenoids as well..You would know that because the transmission would not be able to drive..If you have a torque converter code,,then its most likely you have to replace the torque converter...

I have a 2004 Chrysler Sebring convertable, Problem: enging starts up nice everythings seems to be working but when I attempt to shift in to any gear the engine abruptly shuts off. [Edit]

Hi!!
Your problem is most likely the Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) Solenoid valve. Check Fuse and Related wiring, if all looks OK, remove transmission pan to get to the TCC Solenoid. The solenoid packs are known to leak. You will need to remove:
  • The transmission cooling lines
  • the Speed Sensor,
  • the plug on the solenoid block,
  • the 3 tenmm bolts on the top of the Solenoid pack,
  • the solenoid pack,
  • old gasket (the new pack comes with new gasket)

Install
  • The new Solenoid Pack,
  • the new gasket ,
  • the Speed Sensor and,
  • Transmission Cooling Lines

Start vehicle, check Transmission fluid level, check for proper shifting and have computer reset.
Good Luck!! A HELPFUL - 4 THUMBS - rating for this solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for using FixYa.

The cigarette lighter and the extra plug in located in the console are not working. I can't find a fuse which says it takes care of either one. I have looked in both fuse boxes.

Several Sebring models; for Sebring Sedan check in the Power Distribution Center, underhood fuses label "Cigar & Acc Power" 20AMP (page 219); Sebring Convertible use the same location...

For the Sebring Coupe check in the passenger compartment (driver's side), position 16, 15AMP (page 284)...

We have a 2004 chrysler sebring convertible yesterday the power window on the pasenger side stoped halfway up of course we can not find the owners manual is this a fuse problem or something that we need to...

IF THE DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW IS WORKING IT IS NOT A FUSE PROBLEM AS THESE ARE ON THE SAME CIRCUIT. MOST LIKELY IT WILL NEED A WINDOW MOTOR/REGULATOR ASSEMBLY WHICH IS BETTER HANDLED BY YOUR LOCAL TECH. HOPE THIS HELPS!
