IT SHOULD BE FINE. To check for rub, turn wheel to end and check for clearance. Then the other way. Performance remains at acceptable levels.

SOURCE: hood release cable broke under hood

this is always a pain but here is the way I try 1st, drop the release handle down and cut back the sheath (cable cover) over the inner wire cable, expose the cable and then get a good pair of vise grip type locking pliers and have some one push down on the hood over the latch area (this removes some of the tension on the latch release) while you pull the stub end of the cable, if this doesn't work then you can try going under the truck to latch, but on this model that would be very difficult.

SOURCE: how do i change a fuel filter on a 1991 cadillac

The fuel filter is under pressure so you must be absolutely careful when changing the filter. If you do not release the pressure in a safe manner first, you will get sprayed with gas, possibly in your eyes or in my case shooting a 50 psi solid 3/8 inch stream of gas down my sleeve all the way to my arm pit in a matter of seconds. If you do not know how to change your fuel filter, for safety sake, I suggest having a mechanic do this. If you are determined to do this yourself, go to your local library to read the repair manual for your car. Library information is free. Mine is a 1991 Fleetwood, the filter is located on the frame underneath the passenger side. There are two connections, in and out. Plastic safety retainers hold the connectors on; remove the retainers one at a time. A half of turn and pull of the connector the hose comes off. A 10mm socket and extension to remove the retaining clamp. My suggestion is pay someone to do it or read up on how first, gas is flammable and you will be soaked in it, if you do not do things by the book.

With the ignition key on and engine off, the system fuel pressure at the pressure test connection should be 46-59 PSI.

SOURCE: timing mark for 98 cadillac deville

The timing mark on the crankshaft sprocket should be at the 12 O'clock position.....the timing mark on the intermediate sprocket should be at the 6 O'clock other words, the two timing marks are aligned.
The drive pins on the 4 camshafts must be vertical or perpendicular to the cylinder head, ie 90 degrees to the cylinder head surface.

I am trying to find what tires will fit on my Chevrolet Cavalier, 1996, Coupe Base. My Girlfriend's dad is going to put new tires on her car, and her tires are in better shape in mine, and was trying to...

The difference between 205-60-15 and 205-70-15 tires is that the sidewall is a little thicker on the 205-70-15's, in which makes what msapp12 said accurate. For your car you can fit 195-65-15, 205-60-15, and 215-60-15 tires. Stock tire size for that car is 195-65-15, but the only difference between the three of the sizes I mentioned is the width of the tire. Something to check after getting new tires is your alignment. Make sure that it is straight, as well as make sure that none of your wheels are bent when you have the new tires installed. If either of those are present, it will cause bad uneven wear on your tires causing you to buy new tires more frequently. Plus as a routine maintenance, have your tires rotated and rebalanced every 4,000 to 6,000 miles that way they wear evenly. If you are fortunate to have a Discount Tire, or America's Tire located near you, I would highly recommend paying them a visit and explaining to them your problem, and they will be able to assist you. The standard size tire for a 2001 Jetta is 195/65/15 but could a 205/65/15 tire be used?

I would use the proper sized tire for the 2001 Jetta of p195/65R15 and not the p205/65R15 as the larger size might rub against the wheel wells.

In general, reputable tire retailers will not go up or down more than one size step on any particular axle and will often recommend the original tire size stamped on the inside of the door, or the original tire size recommended for your year, make, and model vehicle which can change from year to year.

Had 205/45/17's put on 215/45/17's. Seems as if

Ya it probably is directly related. the smaller size will have to make more turn in 100km then the larger size and since the car doesn't know that the size is changed the mileage will be off as well as the speedo. I wouldn't worry about it much going form a 215 to 205 is not that huge so jsut keep driving but if it really bother you you can go to the dealership and get it adjusted but that will probably cost you some bucks

Can I use 205/55/15 tyres on my 1998 Honda Civic?

you can use the requested tire size but from a personal opinion i would not use 205/55/15 i would go with 195/55/15 the wider tire (if your car calls for a 14 in) may cause a rub in the front and cause tread wear or even tire loss. and if the car call for a 14 tire, your speedomator may be of by 7-10 mph at a speed of 55 plus

The current tires on my car are 205 60 R 15 I

205/60r15 is actually a pretty common size. If you're looking for a less expensive size then go to and shop a few sizes up and down from that until you find a more common one. Maybe 215/65r15 or 205/70r15. On the back, do you mean that you have a 14" rim back there? If so then the thing you have to worry about most is the upset handling characteristics of the vehicle. It's not "bad" as much as it is "dangerous" really. You really should try to find a rim that matches.
I hope this helps

What size tires do I need?

The GL model came with two different tire sizes:
185/60R14 or 195/60R14, the GLX came with 205/50/R15. There should be a sticker on one of the door jams that will tell you what came on your new.
