Question about 2000 Dodge Caravan
To remove Starter/Solenoid Assembly from motor- diagram of bolt locations?
Take a look on drivers side of engine. hard to see and should be two bolts holding to engine. take it loose after taking loose the electrical connections from below.

Almost all starters have ears with holds in them that bolts go through to threaded holes in the bell housing. Find the starter and look around the end without the wires for the bolts.

with most front wheel drives you must remove the passenger tire and reach through to the starter bolt with an extension and if I remember write with a 15 mm socket you can reach through and take out the bolt

i have a 1998 caravan my harmonic balancer fell off my qquestion is is there 2 separate keys that hold on the timing gear and the balancer pulley on, i have been to the dodge dealer and they printed me out pics but i still don't know for sure if the timing gear has it's own key or there is just 1 long key that holds both the timing gear and the balancer ......PLEASE HELP

The starter solenoid motor assembly is located on the lower part of engine next to the transmission bellhousing. Hope this will help you.
