2007 xl7 suzuki wont start and says engine power reduced

does it click when you turn the key over, but will not actually turn over? if so this is a little sensor called an ignition module switch ( not sure the cost of your vehicle replacement mine for my truck was about an 80.00 fix) the other problem it could also be is the alternator.

Brake shoe on rear XL7 model is sticky and won't retract, have removed and cleaned once already.

Axle seal is leaking gear oil and slung around to the drum? Look behind where lug studs (axle) are.

4 wheel drive wont engage on 2oo1 suzuki XL7

Probably failed free axle air pump. This mounts below radiator on RH side of vehicle. Should be able to hear it buzz for a few seconds if you get down there and have someone else turn on the key and try to engage 4WD lever. No buzz-no work.

Our 2001 XL7 has gone through 2 of these in 150,000 mi. The unit is mounted low where it gets tire splash. Salt from road corrodes the wiring and it fails.

About 10 minutes to R and R.

Can get replacement through Southwest Suzuki on the Web for about $225.

Hope this helps.
