It has coil on plug system meaning the coil sits on top of the spark plug. 4,5,6 are in the front if your standing over the engine your left hand is 4 and they go in order the next is 5 then 6.

On Ford engines the passenger front is #1 or firewall side then count back sequentially 1,2,3,4 drivers bank 5,6,7,8, So the last cylinder next to the transmission is #4 firewall side and the second one back is #6 on radiator side.

I need help locating a module ignition modulator in a 2003 Chevy Tahoe

Who told you that one ? Module ignition modulator 2003 Chevy Tahoe ! No such thing! Your best bet would be to take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop .
The electronic ignition (EI) system is responsible for producing and controlling a high energy secondary spark. This spark is used to ignite the compressed air/fuel mixture at precisely the correct time. This provides optimal performance, fuel economy, and control of exhaust emissions. This ignition system consists of a separate ignition coil connected to each spark plug by a short secondary wire. The driver modules within each coil assembly are commanded ON/OFF by the powertrain control module (PCM). The PCM primarily uses engine speed and position information from the crankshaft and camshaft position (CMP) sensors to control the sequence, dwell, and timing of the spark.

I need to locate the number 4 spark plug wire to replace the spark plug can you tell me how to locate this wire on a 05 ford expedition

Your vehicle doesn't have spark plug wires . Has coil on plug ignition system . Eight individual coils sitting right on top of the spark plugs . An the spark plugs have the tendency to break in the cylinder head . Does your ford have the 5.4 L 3 valve engine . Your best bet is to take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop that has the tool to take the broken spark plug out off the cylinder head. I have no spark for 91 grand am. ignition control module or ignition coil?

You have 3 coils located on top of the ignition module with 2 spark plug wires to each. Usually on that vehicle only one coil dies at once. But if you have no spark at all the ignition module would be the usual problem. There are a couple other unlikely things that can also cause this problem but it will require a repair shop to diagnosis them.

Locate sparks plugs and wires

You won't find any wires...That vehicle is equtpped with Coil On Plug (COP) ignition. The spark plugs are located under the ignition coils. It is not recommended that you try to replace the spark plugs unless you have access to compressed air to blow dirt and debris out of the spark plug holes. I have had to replace many engine valves because of this.

My number 3 spark plug is misfiring i tuned it and its misfiring

Tuned-How -Spark plugs??

You have a misfire, you say on #3,
that isn't a plug issue

Have you tested the ignition module

Have a scope put on secondary ignition,
so you don't keep throwing parts at it

I have a 2002 GMC Savana Cargo van, it ran fine until 1 day I when to start it and it won't start, it's getting gas but no spark, what should i check first.

The manufacturer does not even publish a troubleshooting chart for this. (At least, not a chart that is not associated with a computer fault code)

Most of the things that will cause your vehicle to not have spark will also cause your engine to not receive fuel. (no injector pulse) The only things I can think of would be a bad ignition coil, or a bad distributor cap and/or rotor, or a bad ignition control module. Depending which engine your van is equipped with, there should be an ignition control module located near the ignition coil. I would check for spark at the coil. If there is spark at the coil and no spark at the plugs, replace you cap and rotor.
If there is no spark at the coil, it could be caused by several things, but if you are certain that you have injector pulse, the most likely would be the module. (coil failures do happen but are more rare)

How to change spark plug where are they located at

Your spark plugs can be located in 2 different locations.
1 if your engine is sitting front to back of the vehicle your plugs will be located on the drivers side and the passengers side of the vehicle.
2 if your engine is set from one wheel well to the other than your spark plugs will be located on the front of the engine ( front towards the bumper/grill.) and next to the firewall.

4.6L, 5.4L & 6.8L Engines
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the coil on plugs as outlined under Ignition Coil in this section.

  3. Remove the spark plugs.
  4. Inspect the spark plugs
  5. Adjust the spark plug gap as necessary. Proper gap is 0.52–0.56 in. (1.32–1.42mm).

installation.
  1. Install the spark plugs and tighten them to 13 ft. lbs. (18 Nm) for 4.6L and 5.4L SOHC engines. For 5.4L DOHC and 6.8L engines, tighten the spark plugs to 15 ft. lbs. (20 Nm).
  2. Install the coil on plugs.
  3. Connect the negative battery cable.

Ignition Distributor location

There is no cap and rotor, as the vehicles igntion system is DIS (digital ignition system). The recommended tune-up on these motors require sparkplug and coil replacement. The coil type in this vehicle is COPs (coil over plugs). Usually moist and oxidation develope on the sparkplug chamber walls from faulty or worn coil boots. This causes the coil to short, they must be replaced at 75,000 miles at the same time the sparkplugs are replaced. Typical symtoms are: Vehicle stalls (restarts and runs normal), intermitted jerks/sputter while driving, misfires, rough idle, severe power loss. Hopefully this helps

SPARK PLUG INSTALLATION ON 2006 DODGE CHARGER 2.7L

In my experience with the 2.7L engine, the spark plugs are located on the top of the engine below the individual ignition coils. The coils are placed between the intake manifold and the valve covers, 3 per side. The coils are held in with "torx" screws. Simply remove the screws, and disconnect the connectors to remove the coils. The spark plugs will be underneath. Be sure to properly gap the spark plugs for maximum life and emissions compliance. Also, an improperly gapped plug can shorten the life of the coil packs.
Hope this helps!
