1977 Dodge Tioga, my breaklights were working and the blinkers weren't, I tried putting in new bulbs for the blinkers but as soon as I did that the break lights stopped working. Is it a fuse?

Could be a fuse but if it is you probably did something that caused a short circuit. Fitting a wrong bulb is not unusual.

Unlikely both rear blinker bulbs would fail at the same time. It is better to work towards a diagnosis by checking the bulbs, testing for a supply and a good ground than replacing bulbs and hoping.

A little used hazard warning light switch is often the cause of sudden indicator failure or even partial failure. A couple of minutes of rapidly operating it on and off often put matters right.

Ok i have a 1976 k5 blazer and all of the sudden my blinkers stopped working. The hazzards work but when i hit the brakes alll of my lights stop blinking and stay solid.I checked my fuses but all is well...

when the hazards are on and you step on brakes yes the lights will go solid, this is normal design and are suppose to do that. under dash there is a blinker (flasher) silver or blue in color, 1 1/4 " in diameter about 1 " thick with two male flat prongs. It either plugs into fuse box or there is a female plug dangling under dash that it plugs into. check for power with test light, if power is present then flasher is bad. if no power (with key on and blinker on, left or right side ) then check plug wires back to fuse box. if you have power to those then check the blinker switch power.

I recently bought an 89 honda accord. At first, the blinker worked and the windshield wipers didn't and then all of a sudden the blinker stopped working and the windshield wipers started. They haven't...

I assume they're activated by the same lever? You'll need to (or have someone do it for you) remove steering wheel to access switch. It could be as simple as a loose cable/connection or a shorted switch itself. You won't know until you get into to inspect it.
