Sorry, there isn't one. Car computes are not like home computers. On star can be scanned for problems. Code readers won't read them.

That means the battery is 8 yrs old. How long do you think a battery should last?

dont really get the question the onstar is ran by regular engine battery and controlled by the body control module

UO 100-109 typically loss (or near loss) of communications with Onstar. Problem may be loose harness connection or defective onstar backup battery. I'm working on this issue with my 2008 Vue as we speak. I had a very similar code before, last year, and the dealer replaced the battery and the issue was resolved. There does exsist a service dept advisory informing dealers of this Onstar battery issue. Good luck.

It's in the trunk on the left side just behind the wheel well. It is attached to the VCIM. Just pull the carpet back and you should see it.

Unplugging the Onstar unit should deactivate it and if you can get to it. I haven’t yet taken the time to locate the Onstar unit in my Yukon. In older Yukons, Tahoes, and Suburbans the Onstar was in the cargo area, above and behind the right rear wheel well. However, it’s my understanding that when they redesigned the Onstar unit for smaller size, they started putting it behind the instrument cluster in the dashboard. Good luck

Open the back hatch of your Chevrolet HHR.2

Lift up the floor mat on the bottom of the trunk. You will see your spare tire, jack and OnStar unit. Unscrew the top of the OnStar unit, using a Phillips screwdriver.

Remove the lid from the top of the OnStar unit box; you will see three white plastic cables running from the OnStar box to your vehicle.

Unplug the three cables from the OnStar unit to disconnect them.
