SOURCE: IAT location on my Scion XA

Your intake air temperature sensor is part of the MAF (mass airflow sensor) and located right off the air filter housing in the large tube going to the throttle body. Its held on with 2 screws and has a 5 wire electrical plug going to it.

SOURCE: my scion xa is shaking when idle

It might just be that the air filter holder is somehow knocking on a part of the engine. When I turned the holder away from the engine and then retightened the strap that holds the filter housing properly, I lose the "knocking"/"shaking" noise!

SOURCE: what oil is used for an 06 scion xa?

Recommended oil is 5W30. You can go one step better by using a synthetic 5W30 oil. It may a bit more expensive than conventional oil but it will extend the life of your car's engine (as long as oil changes are done on a regular basis). Cheers!

SOURCE: How do you replace the

Remove the three bolts and two screws from the front of the lens. You will need a ten mm socket with and extension to reach the outside recessed bolt. The other two are located directly in front of the radiator area and are easily removed. You may need to remove one or two screws holding the rubber seal. That depends on your model and year. Head light unit now slides out forward and allows access to the bulb connections. You may have to wiggle it a bit to get it to move. ------------- More detailed procedure as follows:-- Open up the hood. Get the Phillips Screw Driver in Hand. There is 4 Tabs with screws in them that hold the xA's Headlight on. Take the Screw driver and remove all the screws from those 4 points. In order to remove the bottom screw, you will have to pull away the bumper Up then Out Slowly and Gently at these points. Then push the bumper down, very little, just enough to stick the Phillips screw driver in and remove the 4th screw. It is alot easier than it sounds. After you remove the screws, gently pull out the headlight, remove the bulbs, (which in turn frees the headlight) and finish removing the headlight. Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation.
