Question about 1985 Lincoln Town Car
Remove the drain plug at the bottom of the radiator . open heater control Find the drain plug in the side of the block and drain all water out . Flush out the system . Fill with water and run for several minutes then repeat the drain process.. Next mix up the required of water with the right amount of top quality of anti-freeze/anti-boil additive 50-50 and add to cooling system. let engine idle until the thermostat opens and you can feel hot water in the top hose . Add mixture until there is no more bubbles. Some engine may require a pressure bleed of the air from the system . Loosen of the highest fitting hose to help bleed out the air .
