I changed my compressor and my gas gauge started flashing on E and when I turn my head lights on it makes that noise like when you forget to put your seat belt on

SOURCE: my 2002 dts won't start
you more than likely have a faulty ignition module that is located in the steering column. this might be a dealer only item. so it will be a little expensive. unfortunately you should not attempt to replace this your self. you have an airbag to contend with and if not careful you could set it off. i would suggest you have a qualified technician install the module. I hope this is helpful.

You have to roll up all the windows lock all the doors and use your key to unlock on of the front doors or the trunk when the alarm is going off. I don't remember which it was. Remember all doors must be closed and locked with the windows up for this to work.
