If the clutch is operating on the compressor it could also be the tap

It could be the heater tap not shutting off properly

The Air-conditioning needs to be re-gassed. Take the car to an Auto Mechanic to get the Air-Conditioning re-gassed. They might also need to check it for leaks to make sure the gas stays in.

Why wont my heater turn on ?

You need a new control or if you have an average mechanic you can have him set it to only blow heat and when summer comes you can switch back to air condition..I saw this done quite a bit,, Control is quite expensive,,$700 to $900

Make the chang it works fine

89 merc tracer blows cold air brrrrrrr

I would recommend flushing the heater core with water thru the coolant line, then blowing compressed air thru it also. And when you refill the coolant, make sure there is no air in the system.I would also recommend replacing the thermostat if you have the time and the money and the knowledge to do so

Both driver and passenger sides do not get hot

are you sure the core is good? Most repair places when they flush your coolant they dont flush the core. you may need to flush that yourself. It is easy to do. simply disconnect the two water hoses coming from the firewall and spray a garden hose into both of them 1 at a time until you get nothing but clean water in return. Its common for them to clog up over the summer from lack of use. the junk in your coolant will collect at the core because there is minimal flow due to the heater not being turned on

2007 altima that air condition won`t turn on at times .

sounds like a overheating relay. when it gets hot the air doesn't work. and when you shut off the car it cools and works again. the relay is located near the fuse panel
