The fuse is located beneath the panel on the side of the dash (drivers side Right hand drive) Its Fuse No 13 and it will be a 20amp fuse.

There are actually 3 seperate places for fuses. If you need to replace for the driver or passenger 12volt, its located inside the cabin, open the door and look at the actual side of the dash, there you'll see the fuse box. If its the 04 xc90 it would be fuse #11. If its for the cargo area, its located on the drivers side also just inside the frame almost behind the brake light, # 7. Hope that helps, I ran across the same issue, just wanted to charge my phone.
