Battery only has a drain line. It goes down the side of the battery and ends. Whether or not there was originally an overboard tube that was connected here, I don't know. You could install an overboard tube, but might be better to have a bottle to avoid corrosion.

Ac and heat air flow stuck in defrost postion up top .

The hvac blend doors are vacuum actuated. It takes vacuum from the intake manifold via a line that goes through the firewall just right (passenger side) of center. Open the hood and look for a disconnected or broken line in that area and repair as needed. The default position for the blend doors is the defrost position. When vacuum is lost you'll experience what you've described.

I have a 2006 Ford F250 Diesel! The blower only blows through the defrost now, im told its a vaccum line leak, how do I find the leak?

Similar issue with my friends Dodge. Its a safety default to ensure the driver can see (via defroster) in the event the electrical has an issue. This ocurres when someone works on the vehicle w/o disconnecting the battery. Will need re-flashed by the dealer or someone in the know.

Sluggish acceleration, hard gear shift

There is a vaccum assist module on the transmission, which uses alot of vaccum and helps control your shifts, check that vaccum line at the intake manifold and the transmission to make sure it is connected, this line being off can cause you alot of problems,
The battery, check to make sure your cables are in good shape and connections are tight and clean, make sure you put the new belt on right.
If you have it on wrong you could be spinning the alternator backwards, then it would'nt charge.

F150 98 4wd

I repaired this problem on my 1998 F150 4.6L. It had a bad vaccum line between the vaccum check valve and the vaccum storage tank. The vaccum check valve is located between the battery and the firewall. The vaccum storage tank is attached to the rear of the battery case.
