Go under and make sure you connected all the connections on the rack and make sure no pins are pushed out of the connectors and they are fully latched, replace any with broken connector shell lock tabs.

Basic scan resulted in codes: C0455, C0244, U1000 and P0171

MAF sensor needs cleaned/replaced, or a vacuum leak downstream of the MAF, or new spark plugs are needed, or Bank 1 O2 sensor is faulty or exhust leak ahead of the sensor, or a PCV issue cracked line or faulty valve, low fuel pressure (weak pump/clogged filter or fuel rail) could all be cause of the P code.
The U and C code I think are related to each other via traction/steering stability communication issues. Check the ABS module for possible fault if you have a means for a swap. Steering position sensor fault. PCM maybe, but more likely a wire issue with torque/steering commuication breakdown. Might even be related to speed sensors, which are part of the traction control. There are probably more codes you can't see in there, depending on the type of scanner you are using. It could even possibly be a faulty ignition switch. You could try holding down stabilitrac button for 10 seconds and see what effects that has on the codes, that resets the traction system and turns off ST. You can turn it back on by holding it in again for ten seconds. If noting at all happens, you can be pretty sure there's a fault in that system.

Have a 2004 gmc yukon getting codes c0040, c0550,c0455,c0296 in the abs computer. Trac and abs light on as well as suspension control.

C0040 - Right Front Wheel Speed Circuit Malfunction
C0550 - ECU Malfunction - internal write / checksum malfunction
C0455 - Either:
  • A bent terminal or poor connection at the SWPS may be one possible cause; or
  • The vehicle stability enhancement system (VSES) electronic brake control module (EBCM) calibration may be the other possible cause.
C0296 - Transfer Case Delivered Torque for Stability Control System Circuit

C0455

The code description is Front Steering Position Circuit. Your traction system has detected a fault in the steering controls system. Try driving on a straight line. Did you notice a pulling on one side? You will need to check tire pressures, proper tires, and brake system conditions. Is your steering wheel off center? Your vehicle may need wheel alignment. These are the least you can fix by yourself without a scan tool. With a scan tool, the recommendation could say a faulty sensor or module, or a wiring concern. My tip for you, the most common culprit is the steering angle sensor.

Okay, sir? goodluck and drive safely. : )

I have 3 ipc codes what does ipc stand for 98 cadillac eldorado

IPC stands for Instrument panel control, here is a typical code repair flow chart, this is for example only and has nothing to do with your car..
P083 = 24x signal high.

P107 = Instrument panel control )IPC) to computer (PCM) data problem.

P137 = Loss of Automatic braking system (ABS) to Traction control system (TCS).

What you need to do is CLEAR all these codes from the computer and see which ones return.

Perform this test.

1. Ignition key ON. Engine OFF.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER (^) buttons on your climate control panel for 3 seconds and release them.

3. Diagnostic codes such as above will appear with the word HISTORY or CURRENT for each code.

4. The codes will stop when you see PCM?

5. Push and release the HI(^) button and you will see PCM DATA?

6. Push and release the LO(v) button and you will see PCM DATA?

7. Continue to push and release the LO (v) button until you see PCM CLEAR CODES?

8. Push and release the HI(^) button until you see PCM CODES CLEAR.

9. Turn OFF the ignition and wait 3 minutes and try and start the car. If the car starts and the light comes back ON, Turn OFF the car and repeat steps 1 thru 3 and let me know what codes you get and if they are HISTORY or CURRENT.

10. When you see PCM?, Turn OFF ignition key.

11. Let me know what codes you get and if they are HISTORY or CURRENT.

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: this is what happen when it did what you told me what to do.

ANSWER: You did not follow the directives correctly . If you had, You would NOT have any HISTORY CODES.

Try it again and follow these directives EXACTLY:

WAIT 3 seconds and then proceed to 9.

My code is e52 and f11 what is the problem

E52=memory(history)has been resetmeaning the power to the computer
was disconnected and the driving/engine systems performance history has
been lost.

If they are ONLY displaying as F codes this means that they are HISTORY codes and if they display as FF codes then they are CURRENT codes and what we need to diagnose is ONLY the CURRENT codes.

F11 = AC high side temp circuit problem.

hope this helps good luck
