SOURCE: 99 Chevy Tahoe... Rear turn signals, brake lights, and hazards

I had this problem, and to be honest, it happened to the left side about a week later...it's the board that the bulbs plug into...it's a very common problem with this model. So popular that you can normally get the socket board off the shelf at a parts store! it's extremely simple to replace, and I replaced all the bulbs at the same time!

SOURCE: fuse for cigarette lighter on

The fuse you are looking for is in the instrument panel fuse box located inside the vehicle. It's a little different between the hatchback and the sedan but the panels are in the same location. Below i gave you a picture of the location for both of them. If you have the hatchback, the fuse you are looking for wil be marked "LTR" and if you have the sedan it will be the one marked cigar (see layout of fuses below for both below). This should be in your owners manual if you have one. If you don't and would like a copy, You can email me at csautomotivecars@att.net with your make model and year and I will be happy to email you a copy. I hope this helps and good luck.clifford224_393.gifclifford224_394.gifclifford224_395.gifclifford224_396.gif

Power door locks on a 2004 chevy tahoe don't work

The door locks on my 1999 tahoe stopped working and I checked the fuse, which was fine. The problem turned out to be that the fuse for my cigarette lighter was bad and for some reason it also must be working in order for the door locks to work. Put in a new cigarette lighter fuse and the door locks worked again!
