SOURCE: Replacing the passenger side headlight

There are 2 plastic retainers behind the headlight. Lift these up and out and pull out light. Bulbs are twist type twist and pull. Replace putting the plastic moded headlight nubs back in headlight mount panel and putting clips over them and pushing down.

The bearing on the front passenger side needs to be replaced. How much should it cost? Should I change the bearings on all 4 tires, the car has 175000, mil.

well cost will vary, depending on shop rates, not knowing your vehicle year les asume you need:
bearing, seal kit and hub assembly, this must be done in a press, to do so you need to remove knucle assemble from your car, this will change your camber and your toe, in other words it needs to be re-aligment, so estimated cost around $400.00 in a dealer ship, on an independent shop they may reuse your old hub by removing a bearing race that comes off with it, saving some bucks but still your aligment cost may be grater than a pack deal at your dealer, and all they do is toyotas ask around for best prices and dont replace something that is needed.
good luck

My headlight got busted. How much does it cost to replace

Price depends on where you buy it, if your missing the whole assembly, It'll be around $100-$150 a piece.
Check your local automotive parts shop, part number should be 33151SDAA01 for your drivers side and 33101SDAA01 for your passengers side. :)

Passenger side headlight was dim, replaced both headlights, passenger side is still dim?

A dim light is often due to a poor ground. Check the ground wire leading from the light to where it attaches to the frame. Disconnect it there, clean it up and reattach it. If you are not mechanically inclined look in the yellow pages under autoelectric shops. Jo

Good question to apply to your dealer. Look at Carsurvey. org also. I believe it was a poor design allowing either too much moisture and/or vibration.

Headlight Issue

No, you just might have to take out the battery. I was able to do it without taking the battery out, but only because I was being stubborn. There is one thing I definitely have to say is that you should change both headlights at the same time. My driver side headlight was the first one to go and I didn't listen and just changed that one, days later my passenger side one went out!
