Question about 2005 Suzuki Forenza

1 Answer

I have a 2006 Suzuki Forenza, a car that is under 3 years old. First the driver's side interior door handle broke. I managed to successfully glue this back on, but now the passenger side broke and I have not been able to glue it back. I do not have the money to pay for it to be fixed. Does anybody else have this problem or know how to fix it?

My favorite site for used parts is: http://www.car-part.com/
It is a nationwide side, also will usually tell you the color of body and trim parts so you can match up with your existing paint. Enjoy!

If this info works out for you, please rate me positively. Thanks!!

Where can I buy interior door handles for a suzuki Forenza? Both handles broke off in the back.

Hello. Generally for items of this nature you can order new handles at a Suzuki dealership, or find used ones at a junk yard. You can also look on line.

I have a susuki forenza and I need to replace the driver's side door handle. I already have the new part (door handle).

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can remove the inner door handle and replace with new one. If it's your outer door handle, pull back the weather seal and disconnect the linkage to the outer door handle and then remove the bolts securing the outer handle to the door

My door handle snapped off also

Go to your Suzuki dealer, there is a recall for certain Forenza's to have all 4 inside door handles replaced at no cost. If there isn't a dealer near by, e-mail me your vin number and I can look it up for you to see if it qualify for it. dpj1122@yahoo.com Don Suzuki man

Broken passenger door handle

Same problem. I have a 2000 Suzuki Esteem GL. A year ago the driver's door handle broke. Heard a sound and then it was loose. Could not open it from outside. Had to open front passenger door, open the driver's door from inside and then go out again to enter from the driver's door. FRUSTRATING. My mechanic had to take the door apart to fix it. Just a week ago, my front passenger door died on me. Can't open it from outside nor inside. The door won't open. This is such a stupid problem that costs lots to repair. Never will buy a Suzuki again. Had too many problems with it (had to fix gas tank, doors that won't open, front axle...).
