How many blendoor motors are in a 1999 chevy silverado 2 or 3

If heat is not getting hot enough drain the radiator and add 100 percent antifreeze green! Trust me. If still no heat then there is a lever in.the dash up behind the steering wheel to the right as your looking at it make sure that door is pulled to the down posistion. And see if the heat is going to you're defroster

I just had my blendoor fixed and heater core replaced. Now I only have barely warm air blowing out of my vent and defroster. It is a 2002 ford f150

you might need a better thermostat, also make sure your antifreeze is up to par,get a cheap antifreeze tester to check it,but do this when the car is cold and has been sitting for awhile so you dont get burnt

What is the code b0135 in the chevy tahoe.

Harness or connectors (The sensor circuit is open or shorted)
- Front Heated oxygen sensor (Bank 1) may be faulty Possible Solution Replacing the O2 Sensor 1 usually takes care of the problem P0135 Description The front heated oxygen sensor (or sensor 1) is placed into the exhaust manifold. It detects the amount of oxygen in the exhaust gas compared to the outside air. The heated oxygen sensor 1 has a closed-end tube made of ceramic zirconia. The zirconia generates voltage from approximately 1V in richer conditions to 0V in leaner conditions. The heated oxygen sensor 1 signal is sent to the ECM. The ECM adjusts the injection pulse duration to achieve the ideal air-fuel ratio. The ideal air-fuel ratio occurs near the radical change from 1V to 0V. When is the code detected? - Current amperage in the front heated oxygen sensor heater circuit is out of the normal range. (An improper voltage drop signal is sent to ECM through the front heated oxygen sensor heat a four thumbs up would be helpful if this fixed your problem thanks have a nice day

No heat engine warm fan works on all levels directional control (defrost@floor) stuck on cold. ?temp control .

your heater core could be plugged if your anti-freeze color is a brownish colour , most likely your heater core is plugged also when you move the direction for heat control can you hear the blendoor move if you can then again your heater core may be plugged and if it is plugged flushing most likely wont fix it, if you don't hear the blendoor motor move the blendoor motor or the door may be damaged

Defrost works but when you select floor. you can hear something undr the dash and the heat comes out the defrost and not the floor

what your hearing is the actuator/blendoor which is located under the dash near the housing(the bug black box)it is a actuator which transfers the air in different directions.Depends on the year model. For 97-02 the fix is fairly simple and HeaterTreater has a solution available. The system has a plastic interface between the actuator motor and metal blend door. The motor is located on the bottom of the heater box under the passenger side dash panel. You can remove the motor and examine the plastic connector that goes into the box and attaches to the blend door. The connector will pull off if you pull straight down with a pair of pliers.

The heater and a/c blend door actuator motor is located behind the center of the dash just below the windshield. The steering column must be detached and lowered and the dash must be removed to access the blend door motor.
