The car doesnt fire up, I clean the sensor with brake cleaner and then it fire up but when is hot again dont fire up

Have you replaced the fuel in the tank? If your car has been sitting that long with an old tank of gas the gas won't ignite, it loses it's volatility. Try draining the fuel that's in there and replacing it with a fresh tank. You may need to drain and replace the fuel filter too before putting the new gas in there. You need to get the old gas out of all the lines too, so it may take a while to start but once the new fuel is in there it should go. Let me know how it goes!

I just bought an 2001 aurora and it was sitting for a year and at this time we have started it three times it runs for about three minutes then it stalls out and ideas ??

It could have bad gas or plugged injectors in it. Try a bottle of water remover and octane booster in the tank to keep it running, the next time you fill it up put in a bottle of fuel injector cleaner. I would also change the fuel filter, as any water that it caught has probably started to rust it from the inside. The other thing to try would be to loosen the gas cap after it stalls. Does it **** in air? if so mice have made a nest on top of the gas tank and plugged up the tank vent. You will have to drop the tank to fix this.

Ive been trying to start my buick century, it cranks strong, but it seems like its not getting gas, its been sitting for about 3 years.. i nee help as quick as possible... help please thanks!

I would say your gas is bad. Three years is way to long for sitting gas. You will need to drain the tank. Spray some gas into the carberator. Start it and see if it catches for a second. If so, then that confirms a fuel problem. The gas is not good my friend. Sorry.

Theres a gas tank leak comining from the top of the gas tank. what could this be /

Not knowing your milage or what part of the country you live in if they use salt on the roads. The leak is coming form the three fuel lines going into the gas tank and fuel pump. The fuel pump is inside of the gas tank secured by a large slip ring seal. From the years gone by these lines rust and since they are under pressure they will leak through. You will have to drop your gas tank to get to this. This is a ugly all day expensive job. Replace the fuel pump which comes with the new seal and fuel lines assembly. I could sit here and tell you the step by step procedure but that will take hours. The very best thing you can do is buy a Haynes repair manual for your car and year at any auto parts store @ Advanced, Autozone. Read the step by step in the manual. I have used these for 40 years with all my vehicles and saved tons of cash in labor costs. Be prepared to replace the gas tank straps and additional fuel lines depending on how bad the rust is.
Good luck and thanks for your question and I hope my suggestions help. Don't forget to rate me.

Stalling no codes after car sits for hours

STALLING IS USUALLY, CONTAMINANTS IN THE FUEL. CHANGE UR BRAND OF GAS, TEXACO FOR SHELL....PROBABLY A BAD BATCH. FILL THE TANK UP AND ADD A GOOD QUALITY GAS TREATMENT, LIKE STP. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE BOTTLE. ALSO A PLUGGED FUEL FILTER. THE FUEL FILTER IS PROBABLY ATTACHED TO THE FUEL PUMP INSIDE THE GAS TANK. IF THATS THE CASE, ITS A TRIP TO THE MECHANIC.

Won't start after sitting for years. Replaced battery. Turns over but will not start

What about fuel? Was fuel in the tank when the car was parked years ago? If so, the system has to be flushed and cleaned out, from and including the gas tank to the carb or injectors (all fuel lines). Have you checked for fuel and spark?
