Ther is a orange/yellow triangle light with an exclamation mar in the middle of the dash that came on after a low battery, what does it mean and can it be reset

James, I believe this is the indicator lamp for the Automatic Stability Control plus Traction/Dynamic Stability Control. If the lamp stays on after the car starts, the system is deactivated. This means that the system is malfunctioning or has been deactivated with the button. The button is above and to the left of the left cup holder and should turn the light off (ie: activate the system). If it doesn't, you probably have a malfunction and should consult a Service Tech. Hope this helps. Phil

Mini Cooper S Engine Management Light

The following are descriptions from the Mini-Cooper S owner's manual.

Service Engine Soon "?If the warning lamp comes on
either continuously or intermittently, this indicates a malfunction in the emissions-related electronic systems."

EML light: "Engine electronics ?Malfunction in the engine electronics. You can continue to drive with reduced engine output or engine speed."

Triangle circled by an arrow: "Automatic Stability Control plus
Traction (ASC+T)/Dynamic Stability Control (DSC)
?Indicator lamp flashes: System active: drive and braking forces are regulated.
The indicator lamp stays lit: ASC+T/DSC switched off with button or defective. In the event of a defect: please have the system inspected at your MINI Dealer."

First, inspect the belts to make sure none failed at high RPM. If one broke, inspect any cable or hoses in the plane of the belt to see if there was any damage (e. g., a ripped wire in the ASC+T/DSC system). Second, get a readout of the engine error code. (If you get indications of a major vacuum leak including rough idle, look for a blown head gasket.) If you get something else, please post the results in a comment so we can go to the next step.

Dynamic traction control malfunction 750li

You should have the control module checked by a tech as either their is too much slippage or it is interfering with the anti-lock system.

Yellow Flashing Exclamation Point inside a triangle,

That light comes on when DSC (dynamic stability control) has been turned OFF or is off due to a malfunction such as a wheel speed sensor or brake pad sensor.

I have a 2005 bmw 7 series, and my light keeps coming on saying dynamic drive inactive, what could this possible be?

The only accurate way to diagnose is with a bmw specific scan tool, this will be needed to read the fault codes, from there the faulty component can be determined and replaced.

Dynamic drive just turned on gave me the message to go to the dealer

The dynamic drive indicator could mean many things. My vehicle is driven only 1 time weekly. My indicator appeared as a result of having a low back tire. Because it was cold, this too may have something to do with it. The sensors have to readjust to the original or new settings. After turning the car off, it went away. Because these cars are operated on several sensors (80 of them), its best to take it to the nearest BMW dealer to have checked. It may not be as expensive as you may think.

It means your Dynamic Skid Control is failing. This is what helps you control the vehicle in collision like circumstances.
