The reset is correct , key in on position do not try to start if you do you have to start all over . Wait ten minutes , then turn key to off position then repeat 2 more times after third time turn key to off take key out then place key back in ignition then it should start if not there is something else wrong . Also hook a battery charger up to vehicle prior to starting this process so you won't run the battery down .270-556-7357 text with questions

Leave the key in the on position for 10 min and then shut it off this will get the security light off
