The solution may be just to grab the steering wheel and turn to left or right, some slight resistance may be felt as you turn, and at the same time try to turn the key in the ignition.

is the switch turning all the way to the lock position? the doors want lock if the BCM shows a circuit is not turned off as if the key is still in the ignition. had a similar problem on an Acura.

Check the ignition shitch. I just had the same problem where i had no fuel pressure or spark and my dash lights woulldnt ight up when i turned the key to the on position and it to was a 96 blazer.

Try slightly turning your steering wheel while turning the key. ( Your wheel will be locked but should still be able to move a bit. Don't force the key too much or you could break it, and make things much worse. If that doesn't work your ignition may be defective.

When i turn the ignition. the engine don't turn


my car did the same thing two months after i got it, the battery works but nothing happens when u turn the key. its most likely the starter relay which is about an $80 part. an easy way to fix it is by hotwiring your started by connecting a wire to the electrical lead on the starter and another wire to the postitive terminal on the battery and then using a button, u till have to have the key but at least its cool

If the steering wheel has a lot of tension against the steering wheel lock,it can really be hard to turn a key.Just force the sdteering wheel the same direction to free it a little while you turn the key if this is the problem. don-ohio

Turn the key it starts and when i letgo of the key it dies. Its getting fuel and spark it just will not stay running.


you may have a bad ignition switch problem where the internal contacts only work while holding the key in the start position and don`t make contact when the key is released.

Automatic car starter


Check the hood pin it is usually place by the battery make sure it is not bent or damaged. Then shot off the toggle shitch and disconnect the battery and reconnect it, turn the toggle back on see if it resets. Good luck
