Question about 2005 Chrysler Town & Country

How do I "reset" the check engine light in my 2005 Chrysler T&C?

It came on after the radiator fan started running by itself in the middle of the night. I pulled the fuse and now it seems to be fine, but the warning light is still on. I do I reset it, to see if the same problem exists?

You will have to hook a scan tool up to it and then remove the trouble code. you can do this for free at autozone. another possibility is to disconnect the battery for 30 minutes and that should clear the computer's memory.

Where is the cooling fan temperature sensor on a 1993 Chrysler lebaron?

The LeBaron uses the Coolant temperature sensor data for both the engine control and the radiator fan control. The PCM sends a closure signal to the Radiator Fan Relay when it wants the cooling fan to run. There is no separate switch for the fan itself.

My 95 Chrysler Concorde is running hot on short distance driving

Have the cooling system pressure tested with a special tool and see if the source of the leak is the water pump, also feel under the pump for antifreeze.

Location of the temp.cooling switch /or sensor for radiator cooling fans on 2006 chrysler 300 c

The radiator cooling fans are controlled by the engine managment computer, it uses the signal from the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (ECT), unless the engine is hard starting or runs poorly the sensor is not the problem. Also the Check Engine light would be on, is that the case?

My engine in my 04 Sebring is running hot, andthe a/c is blowing hot air. Doesn't happen everyday. What's wrong?

Your A/C has it's own little radiator that sits right in front of your engine's water-filled radiator. Heat from your engine radiator is prolly transferring itself into the other smaller radiator and over-whelming it. When any engine is running hot, it usually turns out to be a bad themostat, bad temp-sensors (that run your electric cooling fans on the radiator (or one (or both) radiator fans have died). I would start with the thermostat since it's the cheapest....

Engine fan starts running when cold and not running

Disconnect one of the wires on the thermostatic switch on your radiator. If this stops the fan from running, the switch is stuck in the closed position. Lightly tapping it may release the contacts but this will probably prove to be a temporary solution and the switch should really be replaced. If the fan runs with the wire disconnected there must be a relay in the system that has failed. Check the fuse box or the handbook for the location of this relay.

Why does my 2005 Town & Country radiator fan

The fan is computer controlled and will not come on untill it reaches 212Deg . It should come on though if you turn on the air conditioning, if not you could have a bad fan relay or relay plug.

Cannot separate radiator from A/C Consensor/Tranny on T & C

I dont remember for sure on yours but if any plastic on top take off , take any bolts on top of radiator core support , take fans off , take bolts out of top , middle , and bottom of radiator from engine side. and of coarse hoses. that should be it.
