There is probably an air lock in the fueling system,you need to take the out the air lock in order to the engine start well and remain idle.

But it sounds like a temperature problem.
Make sure there is enough coolant, (aqua).
The belts are tight.
The fan goes on.
The thermostat can be checked by feeling both radiator hoses.
They should both start cold.
One should slowly get warm as engine runs, but other stay cold.
When engine reaches full temperature, then the cold one instantly gets hot as thermostat opens.

Honda CRV 2007. Battery light is on, I checked the battery & conections & the alternator and everything is fine. I used an electrical meter to check it. Could it be a fuse and if so, which one?


Have you checked for codes in your engine control module or other computers within your car ? Alternators have a voltage regulator within in them, which may be going bad and could be your problem.

What have you done in the form of diagnosis about your issue ?

2000 honda crv passenger window doesnt go up


Try talking the passenger door panel off, and take an electric meter and test to see if the switch is bad or the motor may be bad.

Battery draining on 2001 crv honda ?


remove the earth wire from the batter and connect an amp meter to get an idea of the current being used to determine where to look . Have a load test done on the battery as they do have a habit of discharging internally and going flat.

When I start my 1999 honda CRV it surges to about


no the surge that high is not normal a normal cold start should go to around 1500 then settle slowly to 750 or so but this all depends on engine temp and ambient air temperature

1989 Honda Civic hard starting and dies for no reason. Cooling fans not working. Trouble codes are #6 coolant, #10 air intake temp, #16 fuel injector. Can anyone lead me to a solution for these problems?

check your wiring for dirty connections or broken wires, you may have wires that are rubbed through or connectors that are not making full contact. you will need an ohm meter and check wires for continuity. a wiring diagram will be needed.
