Question about 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
I have a 2003 chevy Silverado truck automatic the tranny fluid went out busted line repaired line transmission feels like wont go in gear but drives is there a sensoror module I need to replace on the transmission slips

You need to take this to a transmission shop and have them trouble shot this for you and then if you want to repair it yourself you can do so. This sounds like more happened than just a line breaking. Are you sure you don't have air in the lines. You might want to just crack the line open and see if there is air bubbles coming out.

transmission shift solenoid is stuck open this is a common vehicle issue in automatics and not particular to any make or model vehicle 15 dollar part and arm and leg for labor if taken in
heres an idea to try
take out the transmission filter and replace with new one make sure to take not of any metal debry in trans pan this indicates the trans had sheered its gears down and a trans rebuild is needed
the transfilter needs to be changed at a certain milage interval they can get clogged up
there is a kit you buy for your truck at any parts store
its an easy change hour of time unbolt trans pan unbolt trans filter and put new one in
kit comes with new seals less than an hour you can do it yourself
to overdrive you would feel a difference in shift badley if it was that something to keep in mind

Check the linkage at the transmission. Have somebody move the selector while you watch the linkage move. It might be out of adjustment for reverse, or be binding up.

Your problem probably lies in the linkage, there are nylon bushings in the linkages to the tranny that get brittle and break over time.
Check your linkages, and you will probably find what I have reffered to.
