Question about 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera
I cant open my 95 cutlass ciera trunk an it doesnt have a trunk release button

A couple of things:
Lubricant sprays, such as WD-40, PB blaster, etc. etc., really should not be used for a Hole, where a key enters, or simpler put... Into any keyhole.
. There are small little metallic pieces of metal, they are are parts of a tumbler. I absolutely agree with Dan, that key holes should have a lubricant injected into them, to lubricate the tumbler. And again I agree, many people do not think of that. But use a product designed for key holes... And that product is graphite. It does not collect, as the other lubricant sprays can , dust and grime and dirt like a magnet. It's a sticky substance and then it creates a sludgy grime within it. Graphite is the product to use. To To get access into a trunk, when it will not open, or there is no trunk release button, the back seat - back will provide access to the trunk. remove the back and you will have access to the trunk, where you would be able to possibly locate an emergency cable to open it or you can manipulate the latch from the inside? Good luck.

Shoot WD40 up in the key hole as well up in the latch area up where the latch would be and some times this works. These should be lubricated several times a year but most people do not think about these areas. All doors should be done as well.

maybe the wire is severed where the door (drver dr) pivots. thats what was wrong with mine. there is a rubber boot with crinkles in it that hold all the wires together. you can also try replacing the switch board that controls the wndws on the drvr dr. hope that helps.
