2000 kia sportage, blower fuse location

Let's start with the passenger compartment fuse box. If you checked the 30A HEATER fuse the blower motor should run at various speeds as you operate the blower switch. If you checked the 10A REAR WIPER fuse (!), and also checked the 30A ADD (?) fuse in the engine compartment fuse relay box, turning on the air conditioner should operate the A/C relay to turn on the condenser fan motor. If this doesn't solve your problem, you'll have to trace power through the various circuits.

I had my 1997 kia sportage air con regassed 2 weeks ago, they found a leak and fixed it. When my air con is on, the air blowing from the vents is not cold. What could be the problem?

Make sure the compressor clutch is engaging by watching whether it spins with the fan belt moving when the engine is on (don't touch it). If the compressor doesn't have its clutch turn when the engine is on, the a/c may have lost its charge again. Take back to dealer to have it checked out, again.

2005 Kia Sportage. A/C blows but does not blow out cold air heater works find. Any ideas what the problem might be?

the A/C system can have many problems first check at the compressor. look to see if when the air is on that the clutch on the compressor is spinning. if it is not try adding some refrigerant to the low side inlet. i would use the kind with the dye in it. if the system is completely empty you may need to put two cans in just to get the compressor to kick on. if you have two cans in and the compressor clutch is not spinning then you compressor is shot and will need to be replaced. if it is spinning it should be blowing cold. look for leaks in the lines leaks will be identified by the dye glowing usually green if no leaks are found you may have just lost refrigerant from normal usage. if that is the case add another can to top it off and enjoy. hope this helps '

Not blowing cold air

Air vents may be blocked or your system needs to be recharged with refrigerant.

2005 Kia Sportage - A/C and/or heater quit blowing air

Probably the blower motor resistor. Can you hear the compressor kicking on? If the fan won't blow at any speed, I'll bet it's the resistor.

Hope helps; keep in touch, and remember rated this help.

2006 Kia Sportage A/C no air is coming through vent

Does the blower work when you turn off the A/C? If not, it sounds like either the blower motor, relay or blower switch took a poo! 06 Kia? Should still be under warranty.
